This is the good stuff. If you like peat, what more is there to say? If you wait and buy at the right time of the year, pay about £25 on Amazon.
My go-to whisky. It's a step-up from the 10 y.o.. When it last hit £25 on Amazon I stocked up.
Very drinkable, although you have to ask yourself why you are drinking a Laphroaig with the peat dialed down so much. Not sure about the £40 price tag,
especially compared to QC but at least it's also 48%.
Pretty sweet, as you'd expect from a sherry cask number, but I like it. 44.2% is a bonus. I'd only pay £25 for it though.
My favourite so far from the JW range. Very balanced and smooth. A steal at under £30.
Seems a good intro to Japanese whisky. Very smooth, clean taste. My wife's favourite whisky so far. As it's Japanese, you gotta pay more.
I certainly wouldn't go much over £40 on this. It sometimes sells at £35 on Amazon if you are lucky.
